Motel 6 Centralia, WA

I really don't understand all of these negative reviews. Keep in mind that this is the cheapest hotel within a 50mile radius; so it's going to be just the bare necessities. Leaving a 1 star rating for a 50$ hotel because it doesn't have a coffee maker and blow dryer just doesn't make sense. The room honestly seemed pretty clean to me. I was expecting something way worse for the price but this hotel is actually really nice. The bathroom looks like it was recently remolded and the room had plenty of tables, chairs, and shelves. The bed was really comfortable and there is a beautiful park, grocery store, and clothing stores all within walking distance. Also, the people staying here all seem nice and respectful. No noise or people hanging out outside in the middle of the night. It's quiet but I guess that depends on who is here when you come. I asked to be moved because we could hear EVERYTHING going on in the room above us and our baby got no sleep. Everyone working here was super nice and more than happy to do whatever they can to accommodate you. I have stayed at horrible hotels that cost twice as much as this. If you don't need anything fancy and just want a cheap nice room, this is your place. My only advice is that if you're a light sleeper like me, ask for an upstairs room. The room also has kind of a musty smell and my allergies were going nuts so I'm pretty sure there is mold somewhere in our first room but the second one was great. It's not one of those places that take your money and then tell you if you don't like it then leave. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

I have stayed here many times over the past year. Each visit is a different experience. I drive here straight from California. A long drive. I get here at odd hours and they are very flexible about check in and out times. In the past, not so much. The staff is generally professional and helpful. I always forget something, like an iron or whatever. They are happy to provide the items I don't bring if they have them. Rooms are always clean. Shower is hot and gets hot fast. Staff is friendly. Price is good. No complaints.

We had a very nice stay with you. We liked the new corner shower in room 212. And it was very quiet there. The TV worked well and it was easy to find the guide. Only negative was the cigarette smoky smell of the sheets. This was probably from someone smoking near the washing process; as the rest of the non-smoking room did not smell smoky. We did not report this to the staff onsite as it was not bad enough to make it worthwhile to move all our stuff to another room. We had to leave quite early and enjoyed the available coffee in the lobby. All in all a very nice stay.

I was very satisfied with my stay at this motel 6. When I checked in I got very fast and courteous service at the desk-it was friendly with a smile. The room was a bit startling (the orange color) but it was nice, clean and comfortable. I didn’t hear the neighbors nor did I worry about my vehicle! The only issue I had, I sometimes lose my balance due to a medical condition, was the round shower stall could have extended about 6” more on the toilet side or had a bar to steady myself. The rooms are clean. I am disappointed in the fact that they don't provide a refrigerator, microwave, or even the basic coffee maker anymore. I was also disappointed that the vending machine was out of order while I was there. The staff did promptly refund my money, so that was nice. And the location is ideal for convenience, both right off of I5 and walking distance to any kind of shopping or dining that you're looking for. Almost every fast food is within a couple of blocks, as well as Safeway with a full deli and Chinese food, pizza, soups and sandwiches. Although you need to remember, no fridge. No reheating or cooking anything. There is a laundry room, which is a plus, and they also have adjoining rooms for larger families. And most of all, the price is right. So if you're looking for convenience and inexpensive lodging, this is the place.

For the price, it was safe, clean, and the beds were comfortable. We had two rooms and one of them smelled of smoke even though it was labeled non-smoking. It was basic. They had soap, but no shampoo or conditioner. There was no comment coffee in the rooms, but I think there was coffee at the front desk. We were looking for an inexpensive place to sleep while on the road, and this Motel 6 meet that need.

We have stayed here 2 years in a row now, for our family reunion. The staff is always friendly, and helpful. The rooms are clean, same with the pool. It was very hot when we were there, but our air conditioner worked really well! We will be continuing to use this Motel 6 for our family reunions in the future.

The room was really cold. Floors were dirty along with the shower. Probably just old and strained. Smelled clean. Bedding was clean. The heater/ ac thing made a weird noise and is super old. Couldn't get a good temp for the room. It either was freezing or way to hot. TV sucked. You can't angle it toward the beds and the bulbs were showing through the screen. Over all was expecting what we got for what we paid. Just to lay our head down for the night anyway.
